Fiber Service Is Entering the Final Phase
Aptitude Internet is in the final phase of bringing fiber internet service to the Summer Set community. We are now opening a pre-installation interest list for residents who would like fiber internet service once the remaining steps are completed.
What Joining the List Means
When you join the Summer Set Fiber Interest List:
- Your address is added to our service planning
- Your home is included in scheduling for the remaining steps
- Our team contacts you to schedule required work
Joining the list does not mean
- Immediate internet service
- A guaranteed installation date
- First-come, first-served scheduling
Scheduling the Remaining Steps
There are two scheduled steps required before fiber internet service can be activated at your home. Aptitude Internet will contact you to coordinate both steps when your home is ready.
Work on the first step is expected to begin starting in March. Timing depends on construction progress and neighborhood readiness.
How Homes Are Prepared for Fiber Service
Before internet service can be installed, a fiber line must be installed from the street to your home. This work is completed outside and prepares your home for service.
This outside fiber line is referred to as a “fiber drop.” When it’s time for this step, our team will contact you to coordinate access as needed.
Once this step is complete, your home is ready for in-home installation.
How the Installation Process Works
Step 1
Join the Interest List
Add your address so we know you want service.
Step 2
Outside Work (Scheduled)
A fiber line (drop) is installed from the street to your home. Our team contacts you to coordinate access.
Step 3
In-Home Installation (Scheduled)
After the outside work is complete, we contact you again to schedule your in-home installation and activate service.
