My internet stopped working, what do I do?

Start by unplugging your router, power adapter for the antenna, and computer. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn everything back on. Wait one minute, and then try connecting again. If this does not solve your problem, call in to our tech support line at 573-755-0555.

Will I lose my email address?

Of course not! Aptitude doesn’t require an email address, nor do we provide you with one. If you need help setting up basic web services like email, Facebook, Netflix, or Skype, however, we’re happy to help!

How does weather affect the service?

Aptitude accounts for adverse weather conditions in all installations. Your connection will always be strong and reliable, even in driving rain, heavy snow, high winds, and scorching heat.

Is there a contract?

We offer many different plans, ranging from a no-contract option to a two-year contract. Contact Aptitude to discuss which plan is right for your home or office.

How many computers can I connect?

As many as you want! There is no limit to the number of computers you can hook up, though a wireless router will be required to connect more than one computer.  Bandwidth is shared between all devices in your network, so as you add more devices we recommend considering one of our higher packages.

Does Aptitude have daily or monthly download caps/limits?

No. Browse the internet, stream movies and music, and download as much as you like without worrying about overage charges.

What is included in the basic installation?

Basic installation includes mounting the antenna and cabling to one computer. During installation, our technician will determine the location of the book-sized antenna based on facilitating the best connection.
